Race Shift Euro Track Days

Race Shift was established in 2018 with their first event being held at Circuit Calafat in Spain for only 4 customers. Their aim being to bring a new premium track day service with a vision to provide premier hospitality to all their customers, exceptional service and communication, combined with their unique touches and constant improvement.

The team pride themselves on providing a ‘super friendly’, professional and highly relaxed 'no stress environment’, where you can often ride with and meet star BSB and WSBK racers (subject to availability during race season). They also offer pre and post-race season events to accommodate those who are busy with racing during peak UK Summer season.

Which circuits do Race Shift cover?

Race Shift always offer events at tried and tested circuits themselves at the most popular MotoGP and WSBK European race circuits as well as some of the smaller, lesser well-known circuits (yet still super amazing to ride on) in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Holland, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Slovakia and Spain.

How are groups organised?

To ensure maximum safety and minimal red flag incidents, all Race Shift events are fully timed and expertly managed with professional battery powered race transponders for correct group allocation (continuous over 3 days) and with the exception of what they call ‘VIP Open Pitlane Events’, their events are split into:

• RS VIP Open Pitlane Events: No Groups = Most Maximum Tracktime with your friends – 7 hours riding and unadulterated fun each day
• RS VIP Group Events: 4 x Groups @ only 50% circuit capacity
• RS Standard Group Events: 4 x Groups @ 85% circuit capacity

They will discuss previous events attended and gauge your experience to assign groups 1-4 initially, with reallocation during the event based on lap times using transponders.

Are novices and road bikes welcome?

• ALL styles of motorcycles, including standard road bikes are welcome (not just track and race bikes).
• Novice / beginner riders are also welcome and have access to free on and off track, instructional support for brand new, beginner and novice track day riders at all events.

Accommodation

Carefully selected 4* hotel accommodation with breakfasts each morning within a 20 to minute drive (maximum) to the circuit to ensure they are within easy walking distance to a good variety of bars, restaurants and clubs.

Choose from 3 or 4 nights (or more) hotel accommodation in 4-star hotels with breakfast included. Other rooming options and additional night’s stay are always available to select during the Race Shift online easy booking process to suite customers flight times / additional vacation time required with family and friends.

Bike Transportation

Race Shift bike drop off Locations in Ireland and Scotland and multiple locations in England. Collection and drop off locations for bike transport currently include:

• Dublin, Ireland
• Livingstone, Scotland
• Chorley, Lancashire
• Dinnington, South Yorkshire
• Mallory Park, Leicestershire
• Swindon, Wiltshire
• Newbury, Berkshire

All bike transport is fully insured with Carnet fees included. New locations are being researched and added to the Race Shift portfolio each year.

Is Bike Hire Available?

Yes, there is access to a fleet of Modern BMW S1000RR and YAMAHA R1 superbikes that you can hire for most of their events. These must be pre-booked directly with Race Shift’s bike hire partners separately to your Race Shift event booking.

Communication

Dedicated WhatsApp groups for each event to enable accurate and up to the minute information pre / during and after the event.

Signing On / Set Up

• Electronic signing on with Race Shift’s ‘E-Sign’ system before you travel
• Setting up at the circuit the evening before day-1 on track

Support Services

• Professional tyre, spares and technical support available
• Professional trackside slow motion filming and photography

Refreshments

Complimentary refreshments:

• Hot dogs or bacon rolls on days 1 & 2
• Yorkshire Tea and fresh Italian bean to cup ground coffee all day
• Freshly squeezed orange juice all day
• Cold beers at the end of each day’s riding
• Sweets and chocolate bars (easily worth an extra second off a lap!)
